It's not been 100 days and already President Obama has had a revolt on his hands (the tea parties), has had a former vice president break protocol to call on him to release the results of the enhanced interrogations (which would have not happened had Dick Cheney not thought what Obama was doing was such a threat to our national security) and he has made our country a joke in the international community.
What Obama is doing with the release of the enhanced interrogation memos and reports is outrageous. And now he wants to prosecute the lawyers that gave the legal interpretation that these techniques were legal! Someone needs to tell Obama that al Qaeda doesn't respond to "brother" handshakes and wussy apologies. The only language they understand is force. The president has single handedly undermined the War on Terror. It's disgusting and it puts our country at risk!
How dare he undermine our efforts and threaten people with jail for defending our country. Mr. President, they knocked down our buildings and killed over 3000 people. HAVE YOU NO SHAME! DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY, THE VICTIMS AND THE FUTURE VICTIMS YOU MAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
I entered this presidency with an open mind on day 1, but on day 1 he lost me:
Day 1: Not Good. His
Insults at the Inauguration? didn't get him off on a good foot either: “On this day, we come to proclaim an end to…worn out dogmas…” Since then, he has put conservatives and veterans on a DHS watchlist while reaching out to Ahmadinejad, the Taliban and Hugo Chavez. Apparently, they are closer to his ideology than many American citizens are.
Here are some quick thoughts:
-Carrie Prejean, Miss California, is an example of courageous conservatism. We must not be afraid to stand up for what we believe it.
-The tea parties were awesome! I saw the real America there.
-Robert Gibbs is porky pig
-Sarah Palin is awesome and the left knows it (that's why there is such a smear campaign going on against her)
-Hillary Clinton is not awesome. WTF is up with "Well, it won't surprise you that I don't consider him a particularly reliable source of information." Does the information contained in the documents have anything to do with Cheney being the source of the information? The CIA is the source of the information you wicked witch of the left!
-Nancy "ants in the pants" Pelosi was IN THE ROOM when Bush reviewed the interrogation methods with everyone.
Let's not let our 2008 election loss get us down. In the words of the great immortal Ronald Reagan: "Don't get cynical because, look at yourselves and what you were willing to do and recognize that there are millions and millions of Americans out there that want what you want, that want it to be that way, that want it to be a shining city on the hill."
